Aico Ei168RC RadioLINK base adds wireless interconnection to compatible 140RC series alarms, so when one alarm sounds, the connected alarms sound too. This mains-powered easi-fit base has a rechargeable lithium backup and is designed for installers extending an alarm system without wiring every new alarm together.
Aico Ei168RC RadioLINK base compatibility and installation
The Ei168RC RadioLINK base replaces the standard easi-fit base on compatible Ei141RC, Ei144RC and Ei146RC alarms. It can also extend an existing hard-wired interconnected system: fit an Ei168RC base to an alarm on the wired system and to each new wireless alarm, then House Code them together. The resulting hybrid system allows a triggered wired or wireless alarm to sound the connected alarms. The 160e series and Multi-Sensor alarms use an Ei100MRF module in the alarm head instead of this base.
